The Acadian story told in the celebrated poem "Evangeline" will be dramatized in a musical presented to residents and visitors in the Argyle region in July and August.

This funding will allow the Conseil des arts de Par-en-Bas to produce and present "Piece musicale
-- The Conseil des arts de Par-en-Bas, a non-profit organization established in 2009, promotes the development and appreciation of the arts by and for the Francophone and Acadian community in the Argyle region and surrounding areas. -- This project marks the first time that the group has received funding from Canadian Heritage. -- The musical will allow the Conseil to highlight a significant part of Acadian history and culture.
