BRIEF: Three comedy shows added to BCPA season

June 24--BLOOMINGTON -- A trio of comedy shows has been added to the 2014-15 season of the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts.

First up, at 7:30 p.m.Sept. 5, is Deon Cole, a former staff writer for "The Tonight Show" who has been featured on "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show," "Laffapalooza" and "Mash Up."

Next up, at 7:30 p.m.Dec. 13, is a familiar BCPA visitor: Greg Proops, best known for his appearances on TV's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and its touring offshoot, "Whose Live Anyway," which played the BCPA a month ago, as well as in several past seasons.

Last but not least, at 7:30 p.m.Jan. 15: Jeanne Robertson, the 6-foot-2 senior jester who turns 70 this year and is known for her family-friendly anecdotes such as "Don't Go to Vegas Without a Baptist" and "Don't Send a Man to the Grocery Store."

Tickets for each are priced at $23, on go on sale at 10 a.m.July 1 via the BCPA box office.

In addition, there is the option of purchasing all three shows in a discounted package that would average out to $19 per ticket.
