June 24--BALTIMORE -- White Sox infield prospect Micah Johnson and right-handed pitching prospect Frank Montas have been selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game on July 13 at Target Field in Minneapolis.

Johnson, a second baseman for Triple-A Charlotte, will play for the U.S. Team, and Montas, a starter with Class-A Winston-Salem, will be on the World Team roster.

The 23-year-old Johnson is hitting .308 with four home runs, 23 RBIs, 30 runs scored and 14 stolen bases over 61 games between Double-A Birmingham and Charlotte. He is 12-for-26 over his last six games with Charlotte.

Montas, a 21-year-old who joined the Sox in the three-team Jake Peavy trade last summer, is 3-0 with a 1.64 ERA and 51 strikeouts in nine starts with Winston-Salem. He has limited opponents to a .193 batting average.
