June 24--RALEIGH -- Police at Crabtree Valley Mall on Monday charged a 20-year-old woman with using fraudulently obtained credit card numbers to go shopping at several stores on May 30 and 31 and June 2.
Aderonke Aderinsola Oloruntoba of 4709 Bayridge Crossing in Raleigh surrendered at the Wake County Detention Center, according to arrest records, and was being held on $18,0000 bail for a court appearance Tuesday.
According to a series of arrest warrants sworn out by mall police, Oloruntoba got food at a Panera Bread restaurant in the mall on May 30, then again on May 31.
Both times, the warrants say, she gave a clerk the credit card number rather than presenting a card.
On June 2, Oloruntoba went to Manicure Express, Deb, Belk and Celik Sunglasses, using the same method to buy clothing and accessories, the warrants state.
Police charged that she had obtained the number fraudulently, but they did not specify how she got the numbers or from whom.
