State and National Bioscience Employment Data to be Presented at 2014 BIO International Convention

Governors will discuss Jobs, Investment and Innovation Initiatives

Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO):

 

WHAT:

A panel of four U.S. Governors will discuss policies and programs in their states that accelerate the growth of the biotech industry. The panel will provide an analysis on where the industry stands today and how they are fostering the growth of an industry that pays approximately 80% more than the overall private sector average salary.
 

The panel also will present findings from Battelle/BIO State Bioscience Jobs, Investments and Innovation 2014, the sixth in a biennial series from Battelle and BIO tracking the U.S. bioscience industry, offering the most up-to-date data available on national, state and metropolitan area bioscience industry employment and recent trends.
