Huawei Launched 2-model 4G Mobile Phones in Taiwan

SHENZHEN, June 23, SinoCast -- Huawei launched 4G flagship mobile phone Ascend P7 in Taibei on June 19 with a purpose to double smart mobile phone sales in Taiwan in 2014 over 2013.

The company also released a MediaPad X1 7.0 tablet with a 7-inch screen and supporting the 4G LTE technology with a purpose to lift tablet sales in Taiwan to 60,000 tablets in 2014 from 50,000 ones in 2013.

Huawei hoped to lift the sales of smart mobile phones to 200,000 units and market share to 3% from 2% in Taiwan.

The company planned to increase the number of dealers in Taiwan to 150 from 71 at the end of last year and strengthen sales cooperation with local telecom operators and retailers.
