June 24, 2014

By Sandra Barrera, Daily News, Los Angeles

June 24--"Treasure from Korea: Arts and Culture of the Joseon Dynasty, 1392-1910" opens at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Sunday, and there are a few different ways to see this first-of-its-kind U.S. exhibition for free -- no paid membership required.

LACMA always waives its $10-$15 admission after 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for L.A. County residents the second Tuesday of each month (next up is July 8), as well as for anyone 17 with one accompanying adult through its free-to-join NextGen membership program.

Catch the traditional art of Korea's longest-ruling dynasty and enjoy LACMA's spectacular permanent collections.

Special exhibits that require ticketing are not included with free admission.

For more information, visit www.lacma.org, or call 323-857-6000.
