Miss Georgia, Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen pageants conclude Saturday night

June 21--A new Miss Georgia and a Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen will be crowned Saturday night at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts in Columbus.

The winners will represent Georgia at the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Sept. 14 and Miss America's Outstanding Teen in Orlando, Florida on Aug. 2.

Friday, Miss Fulton County Brooke Doss was named a preliminary winner in the lifestyle and fitness category and Miss Presidential Pathways Betty Cantrell was named a preliminary winner in the talent category.

Earlier preliminary winners include: Miss Capital City Maggie Bridges; Miss Cherokee Rose Patricia Lin Ford; Miss Macon Carmella Turner; Miss Apple Capital Mary Ashley Tucker; and Miss Lake Lanier Gabriella Booth.

Friday, Miss Peachtree City Outstanding Teen Emma Wernecke was named a preliminary winner in the lifestyle and fitness category and Miss Greater Columbus Outstanding Teen Anna Maley was named a preliminary winner in the talent category.

Earlier preliminary winners include: Maley; Miss Troup County Outstanding Teen Lizzy Stanford; Miss Gwinnett County Outstanding Teen Ansley Hawkins; Miss Starr's Mill Outstanding Teen Abigail Feltner; Miss International City Outstanding Teen Sarah Deloach; and Miss Warner Robins Outstanding Teen Olivia McMillan.
