DHA says Ramadan Kareem with charity initiative

Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority(DHA)in association with the Dubai Charity Association distributed Ramadan Care packages containing essential commodities like rice, cooking oil to underprivileged patients and DHA staff members on Friday.

Expressing gratitude for those who made it possible for DHA to distribute such care packages Ahmed Al Asad, team-member of the Musaadah (assistance) committee at the DHA, said: "We are thankful to the Dubai Charity Association who have always supported such humanitarian initiatives and this year, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, they provided us with 600 care packages which were distributed to patients with financial constraints and staff members of the DHA."

In addition to this, as part of the several humanitarian activities undertaken during this month, the committee distributed 100 wheelchairs to DHA hospitals and primary health centres to assist patients with disabilities.
