Canada Strengthens Ahead Of Canada CPI, Retail Sales

CANBERA (Alliance News) - Canada's CPI for May and retail sales for April are due at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of these reports, the loonie climbed against the other major currencies.

The loonie was worth 1.0818 against the greenback, 1.0166 against the aussie, 94.31 against the yen and 1.4692 against the euro as of 8:25 am ET.
