June 02--Green Park Elementary School claims to have the longest-running carnival in Walla Walla.

As such, organizers will offer an array of booths, including Kid Wash, Plinko, Cotton Candy, Cookie Walk, Hair Salon, Face Painting and Feed-the-Elephant, which are run by teachers and parents.

The fundraiser will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the school, 1105 E. Isaacs Ave.

Pizza, hot dogs and salad will be sold in the cafeteria.

A large silent auction will offer many choices from local businesses for bidding.

Ticket prices are 25 cents each. All proceeds benefit Green Park PTA, which supports classroom supplies, library, Reflections Art Competition, Missoula Children's Theatre, Positive Celebrations and more.

"With Batman and Drew Bledsoe as alumni, Green Park is proud of its heritage and the future of its students. Come and enjoy with your family," said co-chairwomen Cyndy Knight and Stephanie Groom.
