BRIEF: Tonight's Music in Mears concert moves indoors

June 19--Due to the heavy rain, tonight's free Music in Mears concert featuring Benjamin Cartel and the Melismatics has been canceled.

Cartel will instead perform a free concert at 10:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Amsterdam Bar and Hall.

Music in Mears offers free concerts most Thursday nights in downtown St. Paul'sMears Park.

The rest of the summer schedule includes Fort Wilson Riot and Communist Daughter (July 10), Nathan Miller and the Unstoppable Company and Sans Souci Quartet (July 17), Carnage the Executioner and Toki Wright and Big Cats (July 24), Small Cities and the New Standards (July 31), Brian Just Band and Cactus Blossoms (Aug. 7), Greycoats and Chris Koza (Aug. 14) and Ambulance Chaser and 3 Minute Hero (Aug. 21).

Shows run from 6 to 9 p.m.
