Andrew Frisbie and Pete Gilchrist Join Novantas, Inc.

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Investment Weekly News -- Novantas, Inc., a major financial industries analytics and advisory firm, announced that Andrew Frisbie and Pete Gilchrist have joined the Company as Managing Directors, expanding and strengthening Novantas's capabilities in deposit analytics, banking strategy, risk management, and stress testing.

The two senior industry advisors each have fifteen years of consulting and analytics leadership experience. Andrew is a widely recognized expert in banking strategy and pricing, having conducted dozens of engagements spanning the largest U.S., European, and Australian banks. His articles, white papers, and presentations are widely read in the industry, and he is a highly sought speaker for conferences and panels including the Bank Administration Institute's CFO Roundtable, the Association for Management Information in Financial Services, the Federal Reserve, the 8th Annual Stress Testing Conference, and Bernstein Research. He is also an instructor at the Consumer Bankers Association'sGraduate School of Banking. Andrew earned an A.B. magna cum laude from Princeton University in Political Science. As a Managing Director, Andrew will take a leadership role in developing deposit strategies to help Novantas clients improve competitive positioning and stress testing capabilities.

Pete Gilchrist has more than fifteen years of experience in developing and implementing risk measurement and management strategies for financial institutions. A widely sought industry expert, he has conducted a range of engagements including building, implementing, and applying advanced deposit analytics; developing and implementing risk-adjusted profitability measurement methodologies; creating credit risk management analytics and grading systems; and developing tools to measure and manage interest rate risk and liquidity. Pete has significant experience serving Treasury, Finance, and Risk departments, as well as all major lines of business. Pete has spoken at numerous financial services industry forums, including the Association for Management Information Profitability, Performance, and Risk Conference; the Bank Administration Institute CFO Roundtable, Bernstein Research Financials Summits, the 8th Annual Stress Testing Conference, and the Asociacion de Bancos de Mexico (ABM) Risk Symposium. Pete earned an A.B. with honors from Harvard University, where he concentrated in theoretical mathematics, and has a J.D. from New York University School of Law. As a Managing Director, Pete will take a leadership role in advancing the risk management capabilities of Novantas clients, particularly related to stress testing.

Both executives were previously at First Manhattan Consulting Group.
