June 18--The College Station Police Department on Wednesday was asking for the public's help in finding a man believed to have used stolen credit cards.

Authorities said the man apparently entered two area fitness centers Thursday, forced open lockers and took property, including credit cards, from them. Shortly afterward, the credit cards were used at area businesses.

Police believe the same man is linked to the use of stolen credit cards in other areas.

The man, possibly a Hispanic, is about 6 feet tall and 300 pounds. Police said he has a large tattoo similar to a sun or compass on the back of his neck. He is believed to be driving a car similar to a Chrysler 200.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 764-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 775-TIPS.
