United States : CEA, SAE inked two-year deal for incorporating CE, OEM

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) declared that they have inked a two-year contract for exchanging their information on current and future standards development, and through vehicle's OEM electronics, consumer electronics products can be incorporated effortlessly.

Both the teams are in a stage of extending their collaboration, and we conceive it will lead to joint interface standards, but no assurance would be given, as per CEA spokesperson.

Further, CEA and SAE would collaborate through this contract, to reach our shared goal of making the driving experience exceptional, added Dave Wilson, CEA s VP of technology and standards.
