As part of the overall nationwide Unemployment Insurance (UI) Information Technology (IT) Modernization planning, United States Department of Labor's (USDOL) Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is partnering with the Information Technology Support Center (ITSC) in conducting market research on how to leverage cloud technology solutions to compliment single state and multi-state consortia projects. ETA is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) developed and issued by the ITSC to gather information on the interests and capabilities of cloud technology vendors to participate in UI cloud based communities providing cost effective and innovative UI IT solutions. Additionally, ETA in collaboration with the ITSC is hosting an Industry Day in support of this RFI. ETA and ITSC are interested in gathering information from cloud technology providers to explore the potential uses of cloud computing to host states UI systems. See link below for the RFI, and instructions to register for the Webinar and Industry Day.
