Synopsis:

1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only.

1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511210 which have a corresponding Size standard of 500 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years

2. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date Atego Systems, Inc is the only known supplier at this time. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in the future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business opportunities homepage at http://www.fbo.gov/ [www.fbo.gov].

The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate (AFMC), Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, intends to issue a formal Request for Purchase (RFP) in fiscal year 2014 for the acquisition of Ada Developer Enterprise Edition.

The purpose of this RFI is to identify if our requirement is truly sole source. In the paragraphs to follow, the Government will describe why we believe this requirement is sole source. Please read our rationale and respond to the questions below.

There is an immediate need for the Ada Developer Enterprise Edition, or equivalent. The Ada Developer Enterprise Edition is currently available to the Government from Atego Systems, Inc. This software is proprietary to Atego Systems, Inc; the Government does not own data rights so no schematics can be provided.

This RFI is to determine capable and interested parties for supply of the Ada Developer Enterprise Edition, or equivalent software. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to provide the Ada Developer Enterprise Edition. Please limit your submissions to responses to these questions. Send responses to Matthew Loffredo by e-mail at mailto:Matthew.Loffredo@us.af.mil Tuesday, 1 July 2014/4:00 p.m. MST.

If you think your company has a viable solution to our requirement, please answer the questions below:

5. What information could we add to a request for information that would help you to understand our requirement
