NASA/AFRC has a requirement to purchase the following: Qty:1, P/N:STG-AGPS, Description:AGPS 22.20 Network Computer License - Development Environment - Surface Quality package - Post Processing Tools - Panel Editor - I/O Options - Tranair Business Jet package - Geometry preparation Tools - Automated Paneling Package (Transport Aircraft) - Geometry Healing and Repair - Transform & Split - IGES/STEP Import/Export Qty:1, P/N:STG-AGPS, Description:TRANAIR ++ Network Computer License - Restart Capability - Unsymmetrical Flow - Computed Flow Properties - Solution Adaptive Grid - Design Optimization - Stability & Control package - Flutter Calculation STG-TRANAIR The period of performance (POP) shall be from 06/25/2014 06/24/2015. NASA/AFRC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Calmar Research Corporation 12684 Bonta Bridge Rd., Cato, NY 13033. This firm owns the proprietary software code for this product and is the only vendor qualified to provide technical support. This purchase is to upgrade an existing piece of equipment. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time on June 20, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
