EMC Assigned Patent for Achieving Cryptographic Correlation

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- EMC, Hopkinton, Massachusetts, has been assigned a patent (8,751,831) developed by two co-inventors for "achieving strong cryptographic correlation between higher level semantic units and lower level components in a secure data storage system." The co-inventors are Roger F. Osmond, Littleton, Massachusetts, and Gil Goren, Ashland, Massachusetts.
