Cambridge Mercantile Group Awarded Sixth Consecutive Year by Deutsche Bank for Excellence in Straight-Through-Processing

June 17, 2014

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 17, 2014) - Cambridge Mercantile Group, a global payment and risk management solution provider, has received top recognition for its performance in payment settlement with the 2013 Deutsche Bank Award for Excellence in Straight-Through-Processing (STP), marking its sixth consecutive year as a recipient.

Only those firms who have mastered electronic payments with the highest efficiency and precision have been granted this award. Last year, Cambridge scored an STP rating of 98.31% for USD payments and 99.64% for EUR payments, an outstanding level of automation beyond achievement for many providers.

Such a rating was made possible by Cambridge's exceptional Operations team with the support of the firm's own award-winning, end-to-end technology platform which provides real-time routing information and enables standardized template creation, streamlining settlement from execution to delivery.

Led by Sharna Gayle, Vice-President of Operations and Banking Relationships, Cambridge's Operations team continues to meet the complex challenges associated with transaction processing, including ongoing threats to security and the introduction of tougher regulatory restrictions.

"Our Global Operations team is committed to excellence in serving the end client," said Sharna. "We strive to deliver payments with the utmost promptness and accuracy using the enhanced technology developed by our own internal IT team. Each year is an opportunity to build on our improvements and this is reflected in our accomplishment of being honored by this award six years in a row."
