BRIEF: Lewis Reed to host downtown community meeting on proposed bond issue on Wednesday night

June 17--ST. LOUIS -- Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed will host the final of his community input meetings on a proposed $195 million bond issue on Wednesday night.

The event is at 6:30 p.m. at the main auditorium of the St. Louis Public Library at 1301 Olive Street in downtown.

Aldermen will soon consider ballot language for a $195 million bond issue to fund city infrastructure repairs. The question is expected to be on the November ballot, if approved.

Reed is asking for feedback on the issue.
