ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- Abbott Cardiovascular Systems, Santa Clara, California, has been assigned a patent (8,747,736) developed by four co-inventors for "reduced temperature sterilization of stents." The co-inventors are Bin Huang, Pleasanton, California, Abigail Freeman, Del Mar, California, Daniel Castro, Santa Clara, California, and David C. Gale, Kennesaw, Georgia.
