Pakistan : KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA's Senior FM annnounces Rs404.805B budget

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Senior Finance Minister Sirajul Haq has announced a Rs404.805 billion spending plan for the 2014-15 financial year.

He told the house that the budget size was 18% more as against that of the previous year.

According to the government expenses estimatesm, there is also a total outlay of assignments at Rs404.80 billon.

A nominal change has been made in the current taxes, although the spending plan claims to add no new taxes.

According to estimates for the revenue receipts, K-P will receive Rs227.121 billion from its share in federal taxes.

It is also set to receive Rs27.290 billion in lieu of 1% of the federal splitable pool for the war on terror.

The province will receive Rs29.263 billion in direct transfer from the federal government.
