June 16, 2014

Hisense, a world leading manufacturer of flat panel TVs, household appliances, and mobile communications, has marked the Middle East launch of its 6.8-inch 4G smartphone, X1 in Dubai.

The global launch of Hisense X1 was in February this year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The only smartphone to combine the features of a handset, tablet, and TV remote into one mobile device, the Hisense X1 is one-of-its-kind and defines a new era in mobile computing. It was unveiled at a Press conference in Dubai by Terry Wang, general manager of Hisense Middle East, in the presence of Vishesh Bhatia, CEO of Jumbo Electronics.

Hisense X1 is currently available at all leading outlets in the UAE, and is priced competitively at Dh1,899.

"The preview of our X1 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and the official release at the Mobile World Congress had generated strong industry feedback to the smartphone. It has been acknowledged as among the best in its class for its size and features, and has been eagerly awaited globally. The Middle East is one of our fast-growing markets, and we are delighted to mark the regional launch of the X1, one of our marquee products, here in Dubai," said Wang.
