General Electric Assigned Patent for Compact Fluorescent Lamp and LED Light Source with Electronic Components in Base

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- General Electric, Schenectady, New York, has been assigned a patent (8,749,161) developed by four co-inventors for a "compact fluorescent lamp and LED light source with electronic components in base." The co-inventors are Louis Robert Nerone, Brecksville, Ohio, Virgil A. Chichernea, Mentor, Ohio, David Joseph Kachmarik, Strongsville, Ohio, and Himamshu Prasad, Koromangala, India.
