Australian Dollar Extends Slide Against Most Majors

CANBERA (Alliance News) - The Australian dollar continued its decline against most major currencies in early New York deals on Monday.

The aussie hit 4-day lows of 0.9373 against the greenback, 1.4464 versus the euro and 95.47 against the yen, down from early highs of 0.9416, 1.4385 and 95.93, respectively.

The aussie retreated from an early high of 1.0213 against the loonie, falling to 1.0183.

On the downside, the aussie may find support around 0.93 against the greenback, 1.01 against the loonie, 1.45 versus the euro and 95.00 against the yen.
