Mutual of Omaha seeks Albany locals for national commercial

June 14--ALBANY -- Local residents will have their shot at fame as Mutual of Omaha's Aha Moment Tour makes its way to Albany this Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Aha Moment Tour features a one-of-a-kind mobile television studio designed to capture and share Americans' life-changing moments across the country.

Participants will sit down with a producer for about 10 minutes to talk about their "aha" moment, which will be recorded. Videos will then be posted to www.mutualofomaha.com/aha, where it can be shared with friends and family via email, Facebook and Twitter.

One entry from the entire 20-city tour will be chosen to become a 30-second ad that will air nationally next spring.

Locals can sign up for their spot and view previously recorded moments at http://mutualofomaha.com/aha.

Mutual of Omaha, is a full-service, multi-line organization providing insurance, banking and financial products for individuals, businesses and groups throughout the United States.

The popular ad campaign turned cross-country tour is part of Mutual of Omaha's belief that when everyday people have clarity of purpose, the possibilities are endless. That clarity is the definition of an "aha moment," an instance where real wisdom can transform a life and a community.

The mobile studio will be parked at the Albany Welcome Center on 112 N. Front St. in downtown Albany on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Cost is free.
