BRIEF: John Fogerty rolling into Odessa on Wednesday

June 15--John Fogerty, the former vocalist and guitarist for '60s rock group Creedence Clearwater Revival who has recorded several solo albums since the '70s, will headline the Education Foundation's only annual money-generating event at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ector County Coliseum.

Tickets are still available and range from $45 to $60 each.

The former front man, guitarist and vocalist for Creedence Clearwater Revival had a slew of hits with the band including "Susie Q," "Bad Moon Rising," "Green River," "Down On The Corner," "Who'll Stop the Rain" and "Hey Tonight."

Since his split with CCR, Fogerty has gone on to record a total of nine studio albums, the most recent being "Wrote a Song for Everyone," released in May 2013.
