Tenders are invited for Key Box Control System. Specifications i. Key Box Control System The System Must: 1. Be able to act as a stand-alone system: a. Be able to operate without internet or network connection b. Be able to operate without external PC connection located away from the key box c. Be able to fully operate all abilities and functions at the key box itself 2. Be able to be operate in a networked environment: a. Be able to network multiple boxes in various locations together b. Be able to fully operate all abilities and functions of the boxes from a remote owners PC that is on the network at a separate location from the box 3. Have built in software that runs the system - See Software Specification III for details 4. Have a housing constructed of steel or equal strength metal 5. Be wall-mountable 6. Have a locking door with manual override key to secure keys rings 7. Come with ability to secure a minimum of 20 key rings with the option of creating a system of up to 200 key rings a. Have the ability to be modular with option to add key boxes to an existing system for additional key rings - See specification II on Add-On Key Box 8. Have a key ring locking system which uses a locking device to secure keys into the positions a. Must secure the key in a way that the key cannot be freely taken without proper user credentials/authentication b. Must track which key ring is in which location c. Must incorporate a visual indicating system for determining the location of a key ring in the box d. Must be able to attach various size tamper proof rings to the locking key that can hold multiple keys 9. Contain the following user credential/authentication techniques for granting access that can be used independently or in conjunction with one another: a. PIN Code b. Password c. Biometrics Fingerprint Reader 10. Incorporate a touch screen monitor for user friendly operation of the system a. Must be able to fully operate the system from this touch screen monitor 11. Be able to capture photo and/or video of an individual retrieving and returning a key 12. Have the ability to connect to following peripheral devices directly to the box: a. USB Mouse b. USB Keyboard c. Printer - The system also must be able to connect to a printer on the network given that the particular key box system is networked 13. Have at least 3 ports for peripheral device connection 14. Have an audible alarm for notification of Key Box doors being left open 15. Must fail secure the entire system in case of a power outage. This includes the key box door as well as the individual key rings. 16. Be installed and tested by the Vendor: a. Vendor is responsible for providing all labor, parts, materials, delivery, freight, and all related components to ensure that the key box system is fully operational b. Vendor is responsible for initial set up of the key box syst
