ISE-10 index stays bearish

The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) Thursday witnessed a bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 12.72 points to close at 4504.60 points.

A total of 172,392 shares were traded, which showed positive growth of 53,592 shares when compared to previous day's trading of 118,800 shares.

Out of 145 companies, share prices of 73 recorded increase while those of 72 companies decreased.

The share price of Pakistan Tobacco increased by Rs 20.01 while that of National Foods decreased by Rs 27.51 per share.

Byco Petroleum, Maple Leaf Cement and Bank of Punjab remained the top trading companies with 60,000, 50,000 and 43,000 shares respectively.
