Chomsky: Saudi Arabia finances terrorists

TEHRAN, June 11 (MNA) – A political commentator believes some countries in the Middle East like Saudi Arabia finance terrorism sabotaging in Iraq. In an exclusive interview with Mehr News Noam Chomsky explained the recent unrest created by ISIS in Iraq. "Terrorist Takfiris ISIS, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant [(written also as Syria in the acronym)], has attacked some provinces in Iraq and occupied them routing towards the capital of Baghdad," Chomsky said. Post-ISIS violent measures in Iraq John Kerry said that the US should take some military actions in Iraq. In a speech on Friday, Obama said that international aids would help Iraq in any challenge and added that Iraq needed logistics help and the US would not send any military force to Iraq. Mehr News asked Dr. Noam Chomsky about the recent developments in Iraq if he thought that US would enter in the war between Iraqi army and the terrorist ISIS (DAESH) group, he replied that the US might take military action and bomb ISIS.  Pointing to the financial help to the terrorism in the region Mr Chomsky believed that some regional countries finance terrorism in the region, 'they may be funded by elements in Saudi Arabia' said Chomsky.
