The group opened 42 stores and 42 franchises around the world in places such as China, Dubai, Singapore and Iceland. In the UK seven shops opened.

An H&B spokesman said: 'The company has differentiated itself from its mass market competitors by developing a specialist reputation, whilst at the same time offering high quality products at a low, value price.'
