FalconStor(R) & Acolyst Unveil Joint Federal Partner Program

June 12, 2014

MELVILLE, N.Y., June 12, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Acolyst, the newly appointed federal distributor of global data storage leader FalconStor Software®, is proud to launch the Acolyst | FalconStor Federal Partner Program. As the exclusive distributor of FalconStor's award-winning data protection products to the federal government space, Acolyst will manage the program and actively recruit a limited number of qualified solution providers.

Partners and solution providers who are selected to participate in the Acolyst | FalconStor Federal Partner Program, will get access to FalconStor's patented products and solutions, and gain the support of Acolyst in identifying and responding to new business opportunities. The Acolyst team, as led by Vice President Valeh Nazemoff, will support partners with marketing, proposal writing, joint tradeshows, events, training, technical and contract support. Acolyst has over 25 years of experience with federal government contracting, including widespread government-wide acquisition vehicles including GSA IT Schedule.

Nazemoff comments, "We realize there are many choices out there when it comes to distribution. What differentiates our federal partner program is quite simple – Acolyst is much more than a distributor. Our team is committed to growing FalconStor's federal business and the reach of its federal partners through a solid knowledge of the business and its solutions. FalconStor and the federal partners can depend on Acolyst's support to uncover new opportunities and accomplish targeted goals of increased profitability."

FalconStor CEO Gary Quinn added, "The government technology market is facing increased demand for data protection and data management tools, while experiencing dwindling IT resources. To that end, today's solution providers need a true partner who is passionate about helping them build their business. Partnership is the concept behind the Acolyst | FalconStor Federal Partner Program. By combing our innovative technology with Acolyst's business know-how in the federal government arena, we are offering partners and customers a unique and powerful solution to meet all of their data management needs."

To kick-off the Acolyst | FalconStor Federal Partner program, an event will be hosted on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 4-8 pm ET in Northern Virginia. Solution providers are invited to learn more about the program, speak with the CEOs of FalconStor and Acolyst, and fill out an application to potentially join the program.
