Majees Lighting Industries, under the brand name 'Majelite', launched in Oman its new LED Luminaires, along with its strategic partner Khimji Ramdas. Majees Lighting Industries, owners of the 100 per cent Omani Brand, Majelite, and its strategic partner, KR INFRA (the Infrastructure Business Arm of Khimji Ramdas) showcased its newly designed LED Luminaries, during a seminar conducted for its clients and associated Consultants.

The seminar focused on the launch of the new range of LED Luminaries with an ideal combination of aesthetics and functionality using the latest in LED technologies in modules, chips, drivers, optics, and thermal management. The range is available in recessed/ surface down lights and modular Luminaires suitable for indoor applications with wattages ranging from 5W - 215 W, with efficacies ranging from 86lm/w to 163lm/w, and with colour temperatures from 2700K to 5000K. This reliable range is designed to meet a life expectancy of more than 10 years based on 10 hours of operation per day.

The global lighting market is expected to be worth more than €100bn by 2020 according to a report from McKinsey & Company on the worldwide lighting industry which also indicates sizable growth for LED- based lighting. A definite surge in the requirement for more energy-efficient lighting sources that are also eco- friendly, is enabling newer intelligent lighting systems, and a growing demand for LED based products.

It is a matter of great pride to witness a 100 per cent Omani brand, Majelite, take on the might of global competition with a product offering, which is second to none when it comes to aesthetics and functionality.

Majelite has been expanding and developing its range of products to be in line with the current market demands, bringing to the Omani Market, the latest in the LED range of luminaries.
