United States : KaZee appoints Marshall Karr as new Board of Directors

Marshall Karr has been appointed to the Board of Directors of KaZee, an Atlanta electronic health records company.

In the late 1990s, Karr served as president and COO of Nashville-based Medical Information Management Systems. The company was finally sold to Atlanta-based Business Computer Applications. KaZee was spun off from BCS this past January. KaZee deals with various outpatient clinics, physician practices, county health departments and correctional facilities.

KaZee CEO Albert Woodard commented Marshall Karr s experience and reputation in the electronic medical records field will be invaluable to KaZee executives as we respond to unprecedented demand for healthcare services as a result of changes in patient populations, technology advances, government regulations and scientific breakthroughs.
