Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site Invites Children to Attend the Junior Soldier's Club

ABERCROMBIE, June 9 -- The State Historical Society of North Dakota issued the following news release:

Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site near Fargo and Wahpeton will feature the Junior Soldier's Club each Monday, June 9 through August 4 from 10-11 a.m.The Junior Soldier's Club provides students with an understanding of military life in a fort during 1857 - 1877 and family life on the western frontier through fun stories activities and games.

Barbara Myhre, a veteran teacher and interpreter at Fort Abercrombie, will provide a memorable learning experience for children in grades preschool through grade 6.
