BRIEF: FedEx hikes dividend 5 cents

June 09--FedEx Corp.'s board of directors on Monday declared a 20 cents a share quarterly cash dividend. It's up a nickel, or 33 percent, from the previous quarter.

The dividend is payable July 3 to shareholders of record at close of business June 19. The last dividend increase was a penny, to 15 cents a share, a year ago.

FedEx shares closed Monday at $143.65 a share, up 95 cents.

The Memphis cargo carrier will report results from its fourth quarter, ended May 31, on June 18.
