Iran-Kuwait sign six cooperation MoUs

In the presence of Iran's President Hassan Rouhani and Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, six cooperation Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) were signed, IRNA reported.

After bilateral talks between President Rouhani and Kuwaiti Emir in Sa'adabad historical and cultural compound, a signing ceremony was held at the place.

An MoU on aerial transportation was signed by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Kuwaiti counterpart Sabah al-Khaled al-Ahmad al-Sabah.

Customs cooperation MoU was signed by Iran's Economic and Finance Minister Ali Tayyebnia and Kuwaiti Minister of Finance Anas Khaled al-Saleh.

Sports cooperation MoU was signed by Iran's Minister of Sports and Youth Mahmoud Goudarzi and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sabah al-Khaled al-Ahmad al-Sabah.

An MoU on tourist cooperation was signed by Vice-President and Head of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Masoud Sultanifar and Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdulmohsen Al-Madaj.

Vice-President and Head of Department of Environment (DoE) Ma'soumeh Ebtekar and Kuwaiti Oil Minister Ali Saleh Al-Omeir signed an environmental MoU.

Also, a security MoU was signed by Foreign Ministers of the both countries.
