June 01--WATERLOO -- The Black Hawk County Fair Board invites the community to participate in the Black Hawk County FairJuly 22-26 at the National Cattle Congress grounds by entering one of six Challenge Classes.
The competition is open to any and all adults, non 4-H youth and 4-H members. Exhibits will be judged, with one winner selected in each youth and adult class. Pre-registration is not required and there is no cost to participate.
Challenge Classes include decorated cookie, duct tape, photography, bucket and dish garden, commodities or pallet challenge. Bring duct tape, photography, bucket and dish garden and pallet entries to Estel Hall between 1 and 5 p.m.July 22. Bring Commodities Challenge Entries to Pepsi Pavilion by 3:30 p.m.July 23 and Decorated Cookie Challenge Entries to Pepsi Pavilion by 12:30 p.m.July 22.
