Crate-digging, genre-spanning Stockportian hero Mr Scruff is taking over the Roundhouse for an all-dayer in support of his new one Friendly Bacteria. Fellow eclectic DJs Alexander Nut and Trevor Jackson will be in support, as well as neo-soul singer Fatima & The Eglo Live Band. Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you can't have failed to notice Prince has taken a shine to ol' Blighty. He's back with his band 3RDEYEGIRL for some arena dates which start this week (Thu to 23 May, tour starts, Birmingham LG Arena, gigsandtours.com) . . . Goat have added dates to their first-ever European tour (27 Sep-3 Oct, tour starts Liverpool Psych Fest, ents24.com) . . .
