JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Net Asset Value Beats Benchmark

LONDON (Alliance News) - JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC Friday said its net asset value grew 1.8% in the three months ended March 31, outperforming its benchmark which rose by only 0.4%. However, the trust said its share price fell by 2.3% in the quarter.

It said its net asset value as at March 31 was 160.1 pence, and as at May 8 had fallen to 146.5 pence.

Shares in the trust were down 1.5% at 148.56 pence Friday afternoon.
