United States : Pittsburgh private equity firm invests $1M in oil and gas company

Pittsburgh-based private equity firm 3 Rivers Capital LLC invested $1 million into Deep Well Services, as per to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. DWS, based in Zelienople, is an oilfield servicing company that offers rigs, snubbing units, pumps and trained crews to oil and gas companies operating in the Marcellus and Utica shale regions. It has been part of 3 Rivers portfolio from 2011.

Rob Carskadden, 3 Rivers managing director said, We raised some money for capital investments . We bought new equipment, including a brand-new rig.
