Federal Contracts Awarded to Companies in Colorado (May 4)

WASHINGTON, May 4 -- The following federal contracts were announced by federal agencies as having been awarded to companies operating in Colorado.


MILITARY $23.93 Million Federal Contract Awarded to Ball Aerospace Technologies

WASHINGTON, May 4 -- Ball Aerospace Technologies Inc., Boulder, Colo., was awarded a $23,933,170 federal contract by the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command for the production of "Stalker" or long range electro-optical/infrared/laser range finder. Place of performance will be in Broomfield, Colo.



MILITARY $11.79 Million Federal Contract Awarded to Flight Safety Services

WASHINGTON, May 4 -- Flight Safety Services Corp., Centennial, Colo., was awarded an $11,787,928 federal contract by the U.S. Air Force's Agile Combat Support, Simulators Division, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, for the services of instructors to teach aircrew initial qualification courses, refresher courses, upgrade courses and others to fully qualify C-5 aircrews in all mission design series versions. Places of performance will be in Dover AFB, Del., Travis AFB, Calif., Lackland AFB, Texas, Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass., and Martinsburg Air National Guard Base, W.Va.
