The award was given to
"This award has to do with our yearly audit report," Reedy said. "It basically says we report everything clearly and have no recommendations or anything against the audit."
Reedy said that PCSD usually wins the award annually, but this is the first time she has won it for her work. Reedy became treasurer this year, after
"I think it speaks highly of the district as a whole, the board, the treasurer staff are here and remarkable and the administration staff as a whole. We report everything out there for people to see, there is nothing hidden with us."
The award is only a sign that everything is reported accurately, not the state of the school.
"I think every district in the county is struggling and we are no exception to that," Reedy explained. "Hopefully, we are looking for brighter times ahead. It seems that the administration is finally coming back and making changes for education and we hope things will be brighter in the future than they were in the past. Schools have gone through a rough time lately.
