The designated branches of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) for Prime Minister’s Youth Business Loan (PMYBL) Scheme (which are limited in number) will remain open on Saturday, May 31, 2014. This decision has been taken by the President NBP to facilitate the successful candidates.

The successful candidates of the first balloting held in Islamabad on February 28, 2014 have already been informed through calls and SMS. The offer letters have already been accepted by most of the successful applicants. To further facilitate the completion of the documentation, the applicants have been advised to contact their respective designated hub branches to complete the process.

National Bank of Pakistan has made substantial progress in the implementation of this landmark scheme. This initiative shows confidence of Prime Minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the youth. PMYBL is aimed at playing a catalytic role in the economic progress of Pakistan. Though, youth constitute the largest percentage of population of the country, their ambitions have remained unfulfilled because to paucity of finance.
