The 2014 Language Fair also included a special Skateboard Art category in conjunction with the current exhibit, "Ramp It Up: Skateboard Culture in Native America," which is on display through
Miller took first place in the sixth- through eighth-grade Book and Literature category.
At this year's event, students competed in 31 different Native American languages. There were 56 different language programs and family groups represented, and total attendance for the two days of competition reached more than 2,300.
