May 30--Country music performers John Michael Montgomery and Parmalee will perform at Freedom Crossing's summer concert series at Fort Bliss, officials with Rave Marketing and Events announced Thursday.
Both concerts are free and open to the public, officials said. Montgomery will perform at 6 p.m.June 29 with an opening act by local country artist Mark Monroe.
Montgomery has had more than 30 singles on Billboard charts, including "I Love the Way You Love Me," "I Swear" and "I Can Love You Like That."
Parmalee, a band comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas, their cousin Barry Knox and childhood friend Josh McSwain, will perform at 7 p.m.July 12. Their major hits are "Carolina, "Close Your Eyes" and "Musta Had a Good Time." Joe Barron Band will open the concert.
A valid driver's license and U.S. plated vehicle are required to access Fort Bliss. Rave Marketing officials encourage early arrival to guarantee a spot on the event lawn. No coolers or outside food and beverages are permitted and chairs are permitted on concrete areas only.
