BRIEF: Firestock to be held at Santander Stadium in York

May 30--Santander Stadium will hold Firestock, with live music and fire stunts in at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at the stadium at 5 Brooks Robinson Way in York City.

The event features family entertainment, live music and stunts, including fire jump roping, fire breathing, fire eating and a man balancing a lit hibachi grill on his face.

A daylight color smoke bomb display is at 6 p.m., and a sunset fireworks show begins at 7:45 p.m. The 15-minute Firestock finale begins at 9 p.m.

The event is led by Pyrotecnico, a fireworks, pyrotechnics and special effects company with headquarters in New Castle, Lawrence County.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for students ages 18 and under. They should bring their student identification. A $55 family discount pack is available. It includes two adult tickets and up to four tickets for youth ages 18 and under. Admission is free for children ages 6 and under.
