This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Microsoft Corporation 5404 Wisconsin Ave, Chevy Chase, MD 20815, pursuant to FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i), "Soliciting From a Single Source" -- Specific make and model (brand name)," Washington Headquarters Service, Acquisition Directorate intends to award a sole contract for Microsoft Premier Services to support to maintain and enhance the existing network, ensure availability of mission applications and troubleshoot and resolve problems with all IT equipment. The Premier Service's Microsoft provides are as follows:

Service Delivery Management

Microsoft provides services to help reduce risk, optimize IT, and support new technology de-ployments. Support technicians promote customer needs within Microsoft and send customer feedback to key decision makers. MsPS technicians facilitate resources, manage outage escala-tion, and prepare service delivery plans.

Support Assistance

MsPS technicians provide planning and infrastructure advisory services to reduce the cost of sys-tems management and support. Support Assistance identifies operational risks and addresses po-tential problems before they occur.

Problem Resolution Support

MsPS technicians provide response times for critical problems in one hour or less and continue to work on it 24x7 until issues are resolved.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 12:00 PM, EST on June 2, 2014 by e-mail to viol.g.trice.civ@mail.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
