Dollar Slides Following US Jobless Claims, GDP Data

BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The US jobless claims for the week ended May 24 and second estimate of first quarter GDP data were released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Following these reports, the greenback weakened against the other major currencies.

The greenback was trading at 0.8965 against the franc, 1.3621 against the euro, 1.6718 against the pound and 101.54 against the yen around 8:31 am ET.
